PUSH KITING is a Kite Sports School based in Clacton on sea, Essex and the leading Kitesurfing school on the East coast of Essex near London teaching year-round. We have been offering the highest quality Kitesurfing lessons, Kite Buggying lessons, Land Kiteboarding lessons and Power kiting lessons since 2005. We also run Stand up paddle board courses, Wing Foil and Wing Surf lessons, each operating on a daily basis by request.
Our goal is to help customers learn to Kiteboard, Kitesurf & more safely in East Anglia and across the UK, whilst promoting Kite Sports across the United Kingdom and further afield. All Kite surfing, Kite boarding, and Kite buggying lessons are from experienced professional instructors, and with every lesson, we promise to make learning Kite sports safe, fun & as easy as possible.
Our lessons are of the highest quality, we ensure this by having experienced instructors and good quality equipment. Equipment-wise, we use the latest kiting equipment from Duotone Kiteboarding to get you surfing faster, and we offer the flexibility of learning through different learning programmes, ensuring that we really do have something for everyone. Dave started the company PUSH Kiting in 2005, he has a huge amount of kiting experience and is well respected in the kiting community. David is recognized as one of the top Kiteboarders and has featured in many high profile events and videos, Breaking World records with Sir Richard Branson, Featured on Discovery channel, The One Show, Devin Super Tramp, Mpora and many more reaching tens of millions of people through his kiteboarding antics!

David is also the only advanced coach in kite landboarding and kite buggying in the whole of the UK so you are in incredibly experienced and safe hands with Dave.

AJ joined our PUSH kiting instructors team in 2019, however, he has been on our PUSH Kiting team since it started. AJ lives life on the edge, always pushing the limits, after teaching Dave Ursell about trials riding and helping him progress the favour was returned and Dave taught AJ all he knew about kiteboarding, together the progression exploded and sparked a catalytic growth of the sport in the local area, nothing beats a good day kiting with friends and we hope we have many more! AJ is now an internationally sponsored kiteboarder for Ozone, MBS and other sponsors. He has featured in adverts for Blackberry, TV shows on Discovery channel and multiple appearances on TV.

Danny is a dedicated and passionate instructor, his students all confirm he is a friendly and knowledgeable instructor who puts students at ease. You are in great hands with Danny, if you don’t believe us read our reviews. Dan is a specialist in land kiting, kite surfing, and passionate about Kite hydrofoiling, If Dans not out teaching then he’s out kiting or biking!
Dan has been teaching intensively over many years and it really shows, he’s been our go to instructor for many years and is a firm favourite with all our clients because with Dan every day is a good day! laughs on the water and fun on the waves, from his amazing swan dives off the support boat as he comes into help you relaunch the kite, the light and easy sense of humour or the thorough way in which he’ll look through your kiting techniques and give you great advice and tips on the next stage of your progression.

Paul started kiting in the early days of the stackers and constructing his own kite buggy, moving onto kitesurfing and kite landboarding in the following years. Paul has a wealth of kitesurfing achievements including kitesurfing across the English channel with team PUSH Kiting! With patience and humor, Paul will guide you through any aspect of kiting with ease, a fantastic all round BKSA qualified instructor.

Heidi is our newest instructor to join our team. Heidi learnt to Kite Surf with our head instructor Dave in 2018 and was such a passionate kitesurfer she has quickly progressed and was keen to be around the sport and share her love of kitesurfing with others!
Heidi likes to push her limits kitesurfing learning new tricks every time she is out on the water and with her other jobs being a school teacher and sailing instructor you know you are in well qualified hands when Heidi is taking your lesson!
Powerboat instructor since 1995
John learnt to kitesurf with us and quickly became a part of our local kiting community, with incredible experience as a power boat instructor and regular water man, he naturally fitted into the role of safety boat helmsman and is an incredibly diligent and professional member of the team always on hand with useful insights and often a bag of fruit pastels to keep the sugar levels up for those strenous kitesurf or wing foil sessions on the water.
